From October 27-29, the 2021 Nickel and Stainless Steel Industry Chain Annual Conference was held in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. The three-day event was hosted by the Asian Pacific Organization for Lateritic-Nickel Ore (APOL) and co-organized by Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “SDLG”). Mr. Wang Xiaohui, assistant general manager of SDLG and head of SDLG Import & Export was in attendance and gave the keynote speech under the theme of "Nickel Mining Complete Equipment Solutions & Typical Cases Sharing".
The theme of this year’s conference was "New Technology, New Product, New Business Format, New Power", and participants were invited to attend a variety of talks and discussions on several topics, including the outlook of the global nickel market, the impact of nickel resources on China's stainless steel market, and the sustainable development of the nickel value chain. During the highly successful event, participants were also treated to updates on the application of SDLG‘s efficient mining, excavation and transshipment solutions currently occurring in Indonesia's ongoing nickel mine construction projects. As the conference progressed, several representatives from participating companies visited the SDLG factory, where they learned about and resolutely praised the firm’s lean manufacturing process and holistic equipment solutions.
APOL is a non-profit organization that focuses on the improvement of laterite nickel mining, smelting, and related industries, with its membership composed of companies in these and other industries, including inspection agencies, traders, agencies for ship-related business, freight forwarders, shipping companies and mining equipment manufacturers, meaning that the entire industry is represented and can work on future solutions together.
